Croydon Aviation Heritage Centre
The Croydon Aviation Heritage Centre houses mostly aircraft from the 1920s and 30s, including an extensive collection of de Havilland aircraft. It is unique in that nearly all of the aircraft on display actually fly. This nationally significant museum is dedicated to preserving and celebrating New Zealand’s civil aviation heritage – both the stories of pioneer aviators and their equally colourful machines.
Many of the aircraft on display have been restored and are maintained by the Mandeville based Croydon Aircraft Company.

Gore Aquatic Centre
The Gore Aquatic Centre is part of the jewel in the Gore District's recreational crown, that is the Gore Multisports Complex.

Trout Fishing
Gore is the second-largest town in the Southland region. Divided into two parts by the Mataura River, Gore is famous for its brown trout fishing and Country and Western music. Public Gardens
The Gore District Council maintains two public gardens in Gore. There are also significant garden areas and native bush at Dolamore Park, which is our outdoor adventure park

Hokonui Pioneer Village & Museum
The historic buildings onsite include a church with a lychgate, an old bank, a pioneer cottage, an early school and a blacksmith. There is a large complex with an office, a kitchen, souvenir counter and public toilets. Inside the complex are displays of vintage tractors and cars and agricultural implements - many of which are fully restored.
There are also displays of a saddler, communications, domestic displays, a boot maker and a variety of household and farm items.
